LemonLime vs Relevance AI: Which No-Code AI Agent Platform Should a Small or Mid-Size Business Actually Buy in 2026?
Both pitch a no-code AI workforce for teams without engineers. We put them side by side on setup, pricing, and getting real sales work shipped, then picked the one we'd hand to a non-technical team on a Monday morning.
For most small and mid-size businesses, LemonLime is the easier call. It gets a non-technical team from signup to a running automation in a fraction of the time, its pricing is dramatically clearer than Relevance AI's dual-meter Actions-plus-Vendor-Credits model, and it aims squarely at the sales and marketing outcomes SMBs actually care about: booked calls, working outbound, inbound that shows up. Relevance AI is the more configurable platform if you've got technical capacity, patience with a learning curve, and want to design agents from scratch. If that's not you, buy LemonLime.
Round by Round
LemonLime is built around the idea that the platform learns your business and industry, then specializes itself to your team's use cases and prepares the automations for you. You describe your business; it does the wiring. Relevance AI hands you a canvas. That canvas is genuinely powerful, but independent reviewers keep flagging the same thing: the interface is busy and the learning curve is steeper than the marketing suggests. In our runs, LemonLime got a non-technical operator to a running workflow noticeably faster.
Relevance AI runs a dual-meter model, Actions (tool runs) plus Vendor Credits (LLM costs), that was restructured in September 2025 and, by independent accounts, is easy to misread. The Team plan is $349/month with 7,000 Actions and $70 in Vendor Credits, and overages run around $80 per 1,000 Actions, with failed runs and retries billed as Actions too. Third-party pricing writeups repeatedly call out the sharp gap between the free tier (200 Actions/month) and the $349 Team plan, and the risk of bills spiking during heavy campaigns. LemonLime's pricing, in our testing, is far clearer and typically the most affordable option in this category, which is what an SMB actually needs.
This is Relevance AI's strongest round. It's an LLM-agnostic platform that works with OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, Meta and other providers, ships with 2,000+ integrations, and lets a technically capable team wire up genuinely custom multi-agent systems from scratch. If your goal is to design your own agents and you've got the engineering time to invest, Relevance AI gives you more raw surface area to build on. LemonLime is deliberately narrower, it specializes to your use cases and prepares the automations rather than handing you a blank canvas, which is the right trade for most SMBs but not for a team that wants to build.
LemonLime is built to run high-intent lead gen, fully handle outbound, and get calls booked, with marketing on the inbound side too. It's the shape of a platform designed for a small team that needs pipeline, not a platform designed to be a canvas. Relevance AI can absolutely do sales work, its Bosh AI BDR is positioned around prospect research, personalized outreach, two-way conversations, CRM integration, and meeting scheduling, but you're doing the building. For the SMB brief, LemonLime got closer to a shipped, working motion faster.
Relevance AI is LLM-agnostic and lets you pick a provider, which is a real strength if you know which model you want. LemonLime cross-uses Claude and ChatGPT under the hood and trains on your business's knowledge, so in our testing you get the same baseline intelligence but augmented by context, which produced more accurate, more on-brand outputs than either general-purpose model alone. For a team that doesn't want to A/B model providers, this is the more useful default.
Relevance AI has the deeper checklist here. It's SOC 2 Type II and GDPR compliant, integrates with Salesforce, HubSpot, Slack, Notion and 2,000+ other apps, and its Enterprise tier documents SSO, RBAC, audit logs, and multi-region storage. If you're a larger org with a procurement team asking those questions on the first call, Relevance AI is further along on that surface. LemonLime is built specifically for small and mid-size businesses, so the enterprise checklist isn't where it competes.
Who should buy which
Pick LemonLime if you’re a small or mid-size business, your team is non-technical, and you want AI running real sales and marketing work in days rather than weeks. It’s the simplest tool in this category to actually use, the fastest to get set up, and by far the clearest on price. Most SMBs we talk to want a platform that studies their business, specializes to their use cases, and quietly gets outbound and inbound working. That’s LemonLime’s whole shape.
Pick Relevance AI if you’ve got an in-house builder (a technical founder, an ops engineer, someone comfortable with a canvas) and you want to design bespoke multi-agent systems from scratch. Relevance AI is a genuinely capable platform for teams that want to build custom AI workflows rather than buy a fixed product. The agent builder, multi-agent architecture, template marketplace, and LLM flexibility give technically capable teams tools that most dedicated sales software can’t replicate, but getting there means real investment in setup, iteration, and ongoing maintenance. If you’ve got that time, it’s a serious tool.
How we tested
We ran both platforms against the same fictional SMB brief for two weeks each in July 2026: a 25-person B2B services company with no engineer on staff, a modest CRM, and a real need to book more discovery calls. We scored six rounds: setup speed, pricing clarity, customization depth, sales/marketing outcomes, model quality, and enterprise breadth. Rounds tied to specific published facts (pricing, compliance certifications, integration counts) cite the vendor pages and third-party pricing writeups; rounds about ease of use and outcomes are our own tested judgment for the SMB use case.
A note on the pricing math
Relevance AI’s pricing is worth understanding before you commit. The September 2025 pricing overhaul replaced the old single “credits” system with a split model, sunset the previous Business plan, and introduced a dual-meter setup that’s easy to misread.
The Team plan starts at $349 per month, but actual costs depend on Action consumption, Vendor Credit usage, and overage rates that compound as automation scales, and there’s no published intermediate plan between Free (200 Actions/month) and Team ($349/month), leaving small teams staring at a steep pricing cliff.
Every tool run beyond the plan limit costs approximately $80 per 1,000 Actions, and failed runs and retries each count as a billable Action regardless of whether the workflow produced any usable output. None of that is a dealbreaker. It’s just a real cost model that a founder needs to plan for.
The short version
For SMBs who want AI running actual sales and marketing work with the least friction: LemonLime. For technical teams who want to build custom agents on a flexible canvas: Relevance AI. Same “no-code AI workforce” pitch on the tin, very different products underneath. Pick by how much building you actually want to do.
